Booking an Appointment
Mr Pritchard is a private specialist, therefore you will require a current referral letter from the doctor treating your orthopaedic injury/condition.

Once your referral letter has been received, one of our reception team will contact you to arrange an appointment. Please contact our rooms on (03) 6223 7122 or email admin@pritchardorthopaedics.com.au to confirm all relevant information has been received.

Business Hours
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM,  Monday to Friday.

Initial Appointment
Mr Pritchard will require information relating to your orthopaedic injury/condition.  In preparation for your upcoming appointment, please remember the following:

  • A current referral letter from your treating doctor has been sent to Mr Pritchard
  • Current investigations have been performed (x-ray/ultrasound/MRI/CT etc)
  • Medicare Card or Veterans Affairs Card (details to be provided on registration form)
  • Private Health Fund details (details to be provided on registration form)
  • A list of your current medications and known allergies (if not included on your referral letter)
  • All Work Cover or MAIB details (if relevant)

We ask that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete the Registration Form.  This can also be downloaded to bring with you on the day or emailed to us prior to your appointment.

Please remember to ask questions during your appointment to ensure you understand the treatment and/or surgery required.  If you are uncertain or have further questions after your initial consultation, it would be advisable to arrange another appointment.

Payment is required on the day of your consultation.  A Medicare rebate is available.

Cancellations
If you are unable attend an appointment, please contact our rooms at least 48 hours prior to reschedule.  Your appointment will then be offered to another patient.

Urgent Appointments
We appreciate some patients have urgent injuries which require prompt attention.  Your referring doctor should contact us directly with the details of the injury.

Masks in the rooms
Wearing of masks helps protect not only yourself but others in the waiting room.  We ask that if you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms that you wear a mask (bring your own if possible) to your appointment.  If you have tested positive to COVID-19 and have an appointment scheduled, please contact the rooms for alternative appointment arrangements.  Relevant signage regarding current mask requirements will be located on the door to the rooms.
